Now I am not a relationship expert, but guys if you are planning a break up, or you want to break up with someone, it’s a good idea not to do it on an airplane. Why, do you ask? Because in this day and age, there may be someone on the plane with a Twitter account who will live tweet your break up.
This is what happened when Kelly Keegs was on a flight and heard a woman sobbing. She looked to see that it was apparently due to a really awful break up occurring and she began to live tweet it.
"Is that what you're starting to do with me? Just slow fade me OUT? Just like the others?"

Cosmopolitan reported that her livetweeting earned over 4,600 retweets and around 5,000 favorites. The spectacle even caused the hashtag #PlaneBreakup to begin trending!
In her livetweeting, Keegs quoted both the guy and the girl, who apparently told her companion, “Great. JUST GREAT. I’m so glad I paid 40 extra dollars to be on this f***ing flight with you.”

Another shocking one liner came when the guy said, “I just can’t stand you. I can’t be near you. I would switch seats if I could.” There was also discussion of a girl named Charlotte and then things got weirder when they apparently began to make out. If only my next flight could be that interesting.
"I'm going to ask Charlotte. I'm going to ask her the minute we get home and we'll see if your STORIES MATCH" (Omg scandal who's Charlotte?)

Keegs posted on Twitter today that she wondered “if Flamingo Shorts is happy with his publicity. We were in this together, Flamingo Shorts.” She was referring to her own flight companion.
Now if only we could hear the couple’s side of the story.
