Zayn Malik has been making some big changes in his life. He left his famous boy band One Direction, ended his engagement with Perrie Edwards, and now got another tattoo on his arm.

The singer showed off his new ink last night as stepped out of his car. Entertainment Tonight reports that the new tattoo is a lotus flower, which is right above his old checkered flag tattoo.
Malik had even hinted to fans about the tattoo when he tweeted a picture of a lotus flower on Aug. 4.

Coincidentally, Malik got the lotus flower tattoo almost two days after he announced that he ended his engagement with Edwards.
And apparently it was a text message break up. Really Malik?
Edward’s is trying to move on from Malik’s immature break up by spending time in L.A. with her friends and band mates. The group was spotted going out for manicures and picking up some froyo along the way.
As the former couple tries to move forward with their lives, it is hard not to wonder about what Malik will do with the tattoo of Edwards on his right arm.
