Adrienne Bailon has confirmed she has called off her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Lenny Santiago, opening up about it on her show The Real in an episode that will air on Wednesday.
Bailon announced her engagement on the show about seven months ago after she had dated Santiago for six years.
She addressed the audience and viewers at home after getting questioned on social media about not wearing her engagement ring and shared the truth.
"Through the summer, I went on my little Eat Pray Love journey and it was a time for me to come to terms with my own truth and my honesty and I am not engaged anymore," she said in a clip obtained by E! News. She added that they're in a "good place."
She continued, “We're gonna be great friends forever and I think it was a hard decision to make when you're with somebody for such a long time. I think as women, we have a hard time with change. It was hard for me. But you have to be true to yourself.”
Santiago works for Jay Z's RocNation as the Senior Vice President of A&R, Artist Management.
