Damon Wayans has spoken out on the Bill Cosby scandal, in which he took Cosby’s side and actually called the alleged victims “unrapable.”
People reported Wayans received widespread criticism after he gave an interview on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and said that he believed the allegations against Bill Cosby were nothing more than a “money hustle.”
He also made the argument that white celebrities who went through their own assault allegations were not given the same type of backlash.
Wayans took to his Twitter and told critics, “Stop twisting my words. Watch the entire interview before u condemn me.” In his tweet, he provided a link to one part of the interview in which he said his “heart goes out to [the victims.]”

In the interview, he had been asked “What advice he would give Cosby now,” which prompted the comedian to give his opinion.
Over 40 women have come forward with their own allegations that Cosby sexually assaulted them. However, Wayans believed the women had been in relationships with them.
As previously reported, Cosby did admit to drugging the women during a 2005 deposition.
