Gigi Hadid admits she once turned down boyfriend Joe Jonas

Second time was the charm for Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid.

Hadid revealed that Jonas asked her out when she was 13 years old and according to People, the model turned the JoBro down.

“He asked me to a baseball game, and I said, 'No,'” she told her fans on Persicope."It was literally because I was so nervous. I didn't even know what it meant to hang out with a boy. And also, Grammys are on a Sunday, and I didn't want to tell him that I had school the next day, so I was just like, 'No, maybe next time.'"

Hadid said Jonas then gave his phone number to her mom, Yolanda Foster, on a piece of paper.

“And then we've been friends ever since. Until now. We're more than friends. Obvs,” she added.

The duo started dating in June.

Before G.I. Joe took over the internet, Hadid went on to date singer Cody Simpson on and off for years. Jonas has previously been linked to Hadid’s current bestie Taylor Swift and singer Demi Lovato.

Jonas, Hadid and Swift, all went to lunch together over the summer.
