During last night's Jeopardy!, contestant Talia had no chance to win. So rather than answer an easy “Final Jeopardy” clue correctly, she pulled one of the great practical jokes in the show’s history.

The clue - “This song from a 1999 animated film about censorship had a word censored from its Oscar Performance.” - was pretty easy. Obviously, that’s “Blame Canada” from South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut. But Talia only had $600, so even if she did know the correct response, the chances of her winning were slim.
So, she instead wrote “What is the love ballad of Turd Ferguson. P.S. Hi Mom.” She added a smiley face and gave two thumbs up to the camera.
Alex Trebek didn’t seem to get the joke, but the audience did, laughing and applauding the response.
As Entertainment Weekly reminds us, Turd Ferguson is a name Norm MacDonald's Burt Reynolds used during one of the classic Saturday Night Live Celebrity Jeopardy sketches. “It’s a funny name,” said Burt... I mean, Norm.
