Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood is talking directly to Donald Trump on 'House of Cards' (Video)

House of Cards fans know Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood is constantly talking to the viewer at home during sticky situations on the show, looking right into the camera. But during a visit to the Late Show, he told Stephen Colbert an interesting fact.

Spacey joked that he’s not actually speaking to us at home – who are on a “10-hour Netflix binge” as Colbert puts it - rather a certain GOP frontrunner.

“This is the truth from the very beginning,” he told Colbert, EW reports. “When I’m looking directly into that camera I’m talking to one person and one person only and that is…Donald Trump.”

Colbert also told Spacey that he plays one of the “spookiest, creepiest” characters in “all political entertainment.”

In February, Netflix prematurely released the third season of House of Cards, but pulled it 20 minutes later. When it actually returned in March, the season finale offered a doozy of a cliff-hanger. Good thing it’s returning for a Season 4!
