Nicole Kidman talks keeping in touch with Connor and Isabella Cruise

Nicole Kidman is opening up about keeping in touch with her kids with ex-husband, Tom Cruise; Connor, 20, and Isabella, 22. Kidman, who also has two daughters with husband Keith Urban, said she keeps in touch with her older kids via text message.

In an interview with DuJour, Kidman said even though her older children chose to live with their father after the divorce, she does make an effort to talk to them.

"I have four children, so to stay in touch with them is very important,” she said. “I'm definitely engaged in it but I don't let it rule my life."

There have been rumors over the years that Cruise’s religion, Scientology, has turned Connor and Isabella against their mom.

However, in April, Kidman told the Telegraph that they’re just leading busy lives. "Ella lives in London and Connor is a DJ. They're functioning in the world, happy," she said. "I'm so grateful to have four healthy, happy children. I touch wood."

She also told Vanity Fair in 2013 of her kids being Scientologists, “I utterly respect their beliefs.”

Last year, Connor told Woman’s Day his relationship with Kidman is “solid.”

Kidman has daughters Sunday Rose, 7, and Faith Margaret, 4, with Urban.
