Patrick Kane, who is being investigated for a rape allegation, is listed on the Chicago Blackhawks training camp roster and could report this week.
CBS Chicago noted that the forward may show up at the Notre Dame facilities when training camp opens on Friday as he is listed on the team’s roster. However, at this time whether he will or not is uncertain since he has not made any public comments and the organization has remained tight-lipped as well. Perhaps head coach Joel Quenneville will give more clarity on the situation when he makes himself available to the media on Thursday.
As we previously reported, last month Kane, 26, became the subject of a rape investigation for an incident that allegedly occurred in Hamburg, New York. The unidentified woman brought forth the allegation against the star player after a rape test kit was done at a hospital. She reportedly had scratches on her legs and bite marks on her shoulder.
Kane is arguably one of the Blackhawks' best players, but he has had legal issues off the ice in the past so it will be interesting to see how the team handles him following this allegation.
