T.I. backtracks on Iggy Azalea comments, says they're still working together

T.I. is backtracking on the comments he gave to the Ebro in the Morning radio show this week, which implied he had ended his business relationship with Iggy Azalea.

As we previously reported, after he gave the interview, during which he said they were taking a “rest stop,” she took to Twitter to say they were still working together.

He’s now clarifying his comments in an interview with the AP, saying, “It's definitely not a 'sever my ties, walk away, I'm upset' thing. It was more so like, OK, you have a lot on your plate right now. I'm going to pull back or wait until you come to a place where you're ready to come back to the table, so we can start again and make history some more."

T.I. said Azalea is still signed to his label, Grand Hustle, and she’s still his “little sister,” despite all the hoopla.

"That's still my partner," he said of the “Fancy” rapper. "Her life has taken her in a different direction. My life is still as it was before. But Iggy is doing what she feels makes Iggy happy. That's what she should do. We're focused on making the next Iggy record and dodge the same adversities we faced last time."
