Tinashe is finally ready to release her sophomore album.
In a new video trailer, the R&B singer announced the upcoming release of Joyride, the follow-up to 2014's Aquarius. The album will be released this fall, according to .
The trailer shows footage of the singer in a desert with hard-hitting music playing in the background.
"Somehow I feel myself here, alone, trying desperately to get away from the noise, the hatred," Tinashe says in the video. "I know I have to go back. Something inside tells me."
Joyride will include a "few high-profile special guests." One of those guests is Drake, who is featured on the track "On a Wave," which Tinashe debuted during her opening act on Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint Tour.
The album's first single, "Party Favors," produced by Boi-1da, is expected to drop within the next week. It has been described as a track that "goes even harder" than Tinashe's singles "2 On" and "All Hands on Deck."
"It's exciting to have new music and to give people a chance to rediscover me again," Tinashe said.
