Tom Hardy shoots down journalist who asks about sexual preference during Toronto Film Festival (Video)

Tom Hardy shot down a prying journalist at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday, who asked him a question about his sexuality during a press conference for his film Legend.

About a half hour into the session, Graeme Coleman from LGBT news outlet Daily Xtra asked Hardy about what he referred to as being “ambiguous” about his own sexual preference in past interviews.

"In the film, your character, Ronnie, is very open about his sexuality,” Coleman started, E! Online reports. “But given interviews you've done in the past, your own sexuality seems a bit more ambiguous. Do you find it hard for celebrities to talk to media about their sexuality?"

Hardy, who is expecting a baby with his wife Charlotte Riley, prompted a laugh from the audience when he asked Coleman, “What on earth are you on about?"

When Coleman told him he was referring to his past interview with Attitude magazine, Hardy shot back, "But what is your question?"

"I was wondering if you find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality," replied Coleman, to which Hardy answered that he does not. He then countered, "Are you asking me about my sexuality?" Then quickly cut him off with a “thank you” when Coleman replied, “Um, sure.”
