Tyra Banks reveals struggle to get pregnant with boyfriend Erik Asla

Tyra Banks is opening up about her journey to become a mother, admitting she’s been undergoing IVF to no success so far.

The Tyra Presents FABLife co-host, 41, told People when she turned 40 she was disappointed she wasn’t a mother yet and started to use IVF to try and get pregnant.

"Since I was 24, I used to say every year, 'I will have kids in three years,'" she said. "I kept saying it over and over again. Because my business is very entrepreneurial. I'm not for hire, so I have to do everything. I kept trying to find that time for that to happen."

She continued, "When you're like, 'OK, I'm just going to do it,' then it's not so easy as you get older."

Banks and her photographer boyfriend, Erik Asla, have been dating for the past two years.

The Victoria’s Secret model turned entrepreneur went on to say she won’t be satisfied with just one child, she wants a “litter.”

“I've had some not happy moments with that, very traumatic moments," she said of IVF. “I want to be the kind of mom where my child can come to me for anything."

She also talked about her struggles on her new daytime talks show, with co-host Chrissy Teigen sharing her same fertility struggle.
