An unauthorized biography on U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron has given him something new to worry about. He is accused of having sexual relations with a dead pig during an initiation ceremony to join the secretive Piers Gaveston society at the University of Oxford.
Portions of the biography, titled Call Me Dave: The Unauthorized Biography, were published by The Daily Mail. It was written by Lord Michael Ashcroft and Isabel Oakeshott. The authors wrote that a source, who is now a member of Parliament and went to Oxford when Cameron did, claimed that he had photographic evidence of Cameron with a dead pig at a Piers Gaveston event.
The MP made the claim to the authors three times, insisting that it was not a joke. “His extraordinary suggestion is that the future PM inserted a private part of his anatomy into the animal’s mouth,” the authors wrote.
The book, which is set to be published in October, features other alleged lurid details about the Prime Minister’s life. And the Daily Beast reports that the Prime Minister’s spokeswoman would not respond to the allegations.
Still, the claim lit up Twitter on Sunday, with some calling the incident the “Bae of Pigs.” “#Piggate” also began trending.
