Sam Smith’s video for James Bond theme ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ includes ‘Spectre’ footage

The video for Sam Smith’s “Writing’s On The Wall” hit the web this morning, a week after the track hit the web. The song is the theme for the next James Bond movie, Spectre, and the video acts as another trailer for the film.

Between images of Smith singing at what looks like ancient ruins, there’s footage from the film. It even includes several shots that we haven’t seen before. Most of the images are shots of Daniel Craig with Lea Seydoux and Monica Bellucci.

“Writing’s On The Wall” was released last week and is one of the rare Bond theme songs that doesn’t carry the title of the film. Then again, Smith probably didn’t want to sing about the secret organization that Spectre gets its title from.

Spectre hits theaters on Nov. 6 and was directed by Skyfall’s Sam Mendes. You can check out the final trailer here.
