Gomez, 23, announced the tour with a video on her Facebook page and posted the tour dates on her website. She also posted a video on Instagram over the weekend and did an interview with USA Today.

Last month, Gomez revealed the track list for Revival, which also features her topless on the cover. The black and white image shows her sitting cross-legged, with her hair covering her breasts. “Same Old Love” was released as the first single from the album.

In her interview with USA Today, Gomez explained that the album was born out of the response to her single “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” She wasn’t too happy that the message of the song wasn’t coming across because of gossip in the media.

“Then I just went through hell and scrutiny in the press, which was really unfair and I felt like I wasn't being heard,” she said about the aftermath of the song’s release. “That ultimately pushed me to be able to create an album that was personal and real and hopefully, by the grace of God, will be critically acclaimed in some aspect.”

Gomez’s tour kicks off on May 6, 2016 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas and finishes on July 8, 2016 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. She’s also making a few stops in Canada during the tour and teased more dates in her Instagram video. Ticket details will be announced soon.

Revival hits stores on Friday.
