Top 10 moments from 'Criminal Minds:' 'Outlaw'

The latest episode of Criminal Minds saw the team investigating a triple homicide in Las Vegas, New Mexico. After hearing the details of the crime, the team realizes the murder of three teenagers is eerily similar to a case that occurred six years previously in the same town. They must investigate and find out whether this is the same perpetrator or if there is a copycat murder since the original case was never solved.

As the case moves forward, the team is able to determine that one of the original perpetrators of the six-year-old case is part of the current crime being investigated and that he has a new partner. After Garcia is able to pinpoint who their suspect likely is, they visit the second original person involved in the previous homicide.

Another major plot for the storyline occurred with the Las Vegas Police Chief Raul Montoya experiencing difficulty with the case, having been unable to catch the people responsible for killing a friend’s daughter. After Rossi sees that he is drinking on the job he works to help Montoya so he can be part of the fight for justice.

One of the things that stands out about this show is we see that not every case is solved even after the BAU gives their input on the original case. But once they get new leads, they are able to catch the person responsible. In this case, the team has a climatic standoff with their two unsubs, leaving the town free to finally mourn the victims.
