There have been rumors circulating for months that Vin Diesel might play Black Bolt in Marvel's Inhumans and now the actor is saying he'll sign on assuming the script is good enough.

In an interview with MTV, Diesel said that it's not about him wooing Marvel to be Black Bolt; they have to woo him.
"And I love them, but I’m just saying, show me a dope script and show me a great director, all of which I know that Kevin [Feige] is capable of, because he dazzled me when he suggested Groot," Diesel said. "That was, like, profound to me."
The actor went on to say that he's not doing any projects just for work at this point. He's only doing things that he feels passionate about and so he'll be up for Inhumans assuming Marvel delivers something that really impresses him.
Diesel has been hinting that he might play a second Marvel character for a while, but now he's pretty much confirming that this is on the table. Not only that, but it seems pretty clear that we're talking about Black Bolt here and so now the only thing preventing Diesel from starring in the movie is if he's unhappy with the script. Given how great just about every Marvel film has been in the last few years, that shouldn't be an issue.
Inhumans hits theaters on July 12, 2019.
