Bindi Irwin remembered her late father on Steve Irwin Day, which was Sunday.
The Dancing with the Stars contestant posted a picture of Steve Irwin, who was the beloved star of The Crocodile Hunter, with a crocodile and a lengthy caption on Instagram.
“The greatest dad on Earth. November 15. Steve Irwin Day,” Bindi wrote. “Remembering everything Dad worked so hard to achieve and continue his legacy. We miss you so much and are extremely proud to be carrying on in your footsteps. Yesterday we celebrated #SteveIrwinDay in Australia. Today, let’s celebrate together on the other side of the world, today on November 15. Thank you for joining us in making a difference. Wearing our khakis and remember everything Dad did to change the world.”
Bindi has also paid tribute to her dad on the current season of Dancing with the Stars. She is currently competing with Derek Hough. The pair danced to “Crocodile Rock” by Elton John since her dad liked that song.
Bindi recently had a setback when a judge ruled she cannot collect her money from Dancing with the Stars until she can prove that her father is in fact dead.
