Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani hold hands at CMA after party

The same day they confirmed their new relationship, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani took their relationship public. The couple was spotted holding hands while out in Nashville after the Country Music Awards.

As Stefani held a glass of wine in her free hand, Shelton had a Styrofoam cup likely filled with his adult beverage of choice.

Paparazzi caught them as they were walking between the VIP and main areas of the Warner Music Group after party, ET reports.

They were both dressed down for the party, wearing jeans. On that same day, their reps confirmed their relationship after weeks of speculation.

“Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating,” Stefani’s spokesperson said.

Stefani didn’t sit with Shelton at the CMAs but she likely heard co-hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood poking fun at Shelton and Miranda Lambert’s first public appearance since announcing their divorce in July.

When Lambert won Female Vocalist of the Year, she admitted she “needed a bright spot this year.”
