Chris Brown denies being addicted to sizzurp

Chris Brown is denying claims that he is addicted to the codeine cough syrup and soda mix known as “sizzurp” or “lean.”

After TMZ reported that the singer was addicted to the cocktail and that his loved ones were very worried about his addiction, Brown responded.

Gossip Cop noted that the 26-year-old called the story “bulls**t” and said that his people told the webloid that the report was “bogus.”

TMZ, however, claims that evidence of his “addiction” was captured in recent photos when he took his daughter, Royalty, to a pumpkin patch and was seen sipping from multiple red cups. The website goes on to say that more damning evidence was video taken a few weeks ago at a birthday party for Tyga’s son. TMZ alleges that a man was mixing what appeared to be codeine and soda for Brown in a parking lot at the party.

A rep for the entertainer said then that the story was “absurd and slanderous,” adding, “To make the leap from Chris drinking from a cup at a party to Chris doing drugs in front of his daughter is… preposterous.”
