Comedian couple Jordan Peele and Chelsea Peretti are engaged

Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Chelsea Peretti is now engaged to comedian Jordan Peele.

Yesterday, the actress and comedienne tweeted about the engagement news, saying “My fiancé (lololol) @JordanPeele proposed to me last night during the family talent show lolol.” She added two flower and heart emojis to her post.

Peele also posted, simply writing her Twitter handle and adding a diamond ring emoji. The pair received multiple congratulations, from Seth Green and Mindy Kalig to the Twitter account from Peretti’s show.

Kalig tweeted her congratulations and added that the two were “such a cool couple.”

Peretti, 37, and Peele, 36, have been together since 2013 and have been seen together at many celebrity events, E! News reported. Peele’s former Key and Peele co-star and fellow comedy partner, Keega-Michael Key, has been married to Cynthia Blaise since 1999. Straight Outta Compton star Jason Mitchell also congratulated the couple, adding at the bottom of his tweet a request for them to adopt him. The couple then tweeted back, jokingly responding positively to the request.
