Eddie Murphy has ninth child on the way, first with girlfriend Paige Butcher

Eddie Murphy is expecting his first child with girlfriend Paige Butcher, which will be his ninth child in total.

The actor has five children with his ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell, and one each with past girlfriends Paulette McNeely, Tamara Hood and Melanie “Mel B” Brown.

All of his kids are mostly close in age. He shares Eric, 26, with McNeely; Christian, 25, with Hood; Bria, 25, Myles, 22, Shayne, 21, Zola, 15, and Bella, 13, with Mitchell and Angel, 8, with the former Spice Girl.

Butcher, who’s a model and actress herself, has been in films like Big Momma’s House 2 and the Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson-starring Something’s Gotta Give.

A rep for Murphy has confirmed the pregnancy to The Mirror and other media outlets.

A source said, “Eddie really is a family man and loves all of his children, so he's so excited about having another one on the way.” The insider also said all of his kids are close, saying “they all come together on holidays and for sporting events and hang out at his mansion as one big blended family."

Murphy, 54, and Butcher, 36, have been dating for four years, Yahoo reports.

“I’m in a relationship with a celebrity, so I felt like there’s already enough of me out there,” she told Vanity Fair in 2013. “I felt like I was giving out too much information. I was giving people too much access. I like to keep as much private as possible now.”
