Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg taking two months of paternity leave

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced he will take two months of paternity leave once his daughter is born.

The Facebook founder wrote on his Facebook timeline that he has made a "personal decision" to take two months of paternity leave to be with his wife Priscilla Chan and their daughter.

"Studies show when working parents take time to be with their newborns, outcomes are better for the children and families," he wrote.

Zuckerberg added that U.S. Facebook employees receive up to four months of paid maternity or paternity leave, which they can use all at once or space out throughout the year.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby girl in July and even shared they had previously suffered three miscarriages.

Just two weeks ago, Zuckerberg posted a photo of his wife. "This is a stunning photo of Priscilla," he wrote. "I love her expression: intense yet kind, fierce yet loving, leading yet always supporting others. Thank you Annie Leibovitz for capturing her spirit so beautifully."

Priscilla and I are starting to get ready for our daughter's arrival. We've been picking out our favorite childhood...
