Giada De Laurentiis revealed recently that she’s in a new relationship since her split from husband Todd Thompson, and now it's been revealed her new beau is still legally married.
The celebrity chef first hinted at her new relationship on The Wendy Williams Show last week, and the new man in her life was soon identified as producer Shane Farley, who she worked with in 2013.
Farley filed for divorce from personal trainer Jennifer Giamo in March, and Giamo's lawyer, Barry S. Guaglardi, told Page Six his client is “devastated” about De Laurentiis speaking about the new relationship publicly.
“My client is devastated by what she has learned through the tabloids,” said Guaglardi. “‘Hurtful’ would be a mild characterization.”
A source also told Page Six about the relationship, “He’s technically still married. When he first met Giada, he was still very much married.” De Laurentiis said the relationship started in August.
De Laurentiis finalized her divorce from Thompson, who she shares a daughter with, in September.
