The White House released the holiday playlists put together by the Obamas and Bidens on Wednesday.
President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama’s playlist includes hits from Boyz II Men, Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Destiny’s Child and The Jackson 5. There are other classics throughout, including Frank Sinatra’s “The First Noel,” Nat King Cole’s “The Christmas Song” and “Santa Baby” by Eartha Kitt.
Maybe the Obamas included “All I Want For Christmas Is You” just to help Carey’s song become the most-played Christmas song again.
Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden went heavy on the classic rock, including tracks by Bruce Springsteen, U2, Tom Petty, George Thorogood & The Destroyers and Paul McCartney. Songs by Mary J. Blige, Coldplay, Andrea Bocelli, Ella Fitzgerald and Tony Bennett also made the list.
