Donald Trump’s proposed Muslim ban hasn’t exactly been sitting well with everyone and many public figures have called him out for such a plan. Well now add San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick to that list.
On Thursday, the athlete posted a quote on his Instagram account from retired Air Force Colonel Thomas Moe denouncing the GOP frontrunner. Kaepernick captioned the photo “Food for thought!”
TMZ noted that the sidelined QB also posted a photo of several racist signs and with that wrote, "Racism and discrimination isn't OK we are all human beings! Things need to change!"
Trump has not yet responded to Kaepernick. While the Republican responds to many of his critics, he doesn’t seem big on responding to sports stars. He still has not responded to a statement made yesterday by legendary boxer Muhammad Ali about the religion of Islam or what Detroit Lions running back Ameer Abdullah told reporters about him or what Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said about him being a “villain.”
