One of the traditions of Festivus is the airing of grievances and keeping track of Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s grievances has also become an annual tradition. The Republican presidential candidate began at 8 a.m. and has finally finished at around 2:30.
Paul, who has been doing this for the past few years already, started by taking specific shots at his competition for the presidential nomination. He criticized Trump for not knowing what “schlong” means and noted how Trump tries to give out his “made in China ties” at debates.
He also showed off his sense of humor, writing about Ben Carson, “I have no grievances against my fellow doc @RealBenCarson because I have not heard a word he has said in any debate.”
Paul couldn’t avoid taking a dig at Hillary Clinton’s bathroom break:
.@CarlyFiorina has ZERO trouble making it back from commercial breaks @HillaryClinton. Just saying. #Festivus #waronwomensrooms

After taking shots at everyone, he took a (bathroom?) break, but not before asking for money:
While you wait for more grievances this #Festivus considering standing with me and helping our campaign right now https://t.co/78WPMctrVp

When he returned, Paul directed his grievances directly to the government by pointing out items that should be cut from the budget. He also complained about the NSA, joking that he accidentally banned Elf on the Shelf.
Apparently when I fought to stop the NSA spying on every American, I accidentally banned Elf on the Shelf. Sorry about that kids. #Festivus

His final grievance was targeted to President Barack Obama:
Can't forget @barackobama today. He gets 2 play WAY more golf than me & he doesn't have 2 go through TSA lines #Festivus #AiringofGrievances
