Every generation has actresses that served as their icons of talent, style and beauty. Behind them is a crop of stars from which the icons of the future will emerge. There are so many talented and beautiful young entertainers throughout the music, television and movie industries, it will be interesting to see who makes a lasting name for themselves. Below is a glimpse of 15 contenders from the pool of television actresses, plus two honorable mentions. They are the hottest actresses of today under the age of 25.
Honorable mentions:
Ciara Bravo — This 18-year-old began her career in 2008 and landed her first recurring role as Katie Knight on Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush from 2009-13. She was on the verge of breaking out as Emma Chota on FOX's 2014 dramedy Red Band Society, but the show got nixed (very unjustly, in this writer's opinion). She'll next appear as Gracie in Second Chance, the Frankenstein-themed 2016 FOX show originally titled The Frankenstein Code.
Malese Jow — This 24-year-old Oklahoma native's career kicked off with a one-episode spot on Barney and Friends in 1997. Her first recurring role came as Geena Fabiano on Nickelodeon's Emma Roberts-led show Unfabulous, which Jow was on from 2004-07. She appeared as Alice in the big screen hit 2010 flick The Social Network, followed by stints on Nickelodeon's The Troop, CW's The Vampire Diaries (2010-11), Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush (2011-13) and CW's Star Crossed (2014). Most recently, she's been seen as Linda Park/ Dr. Light on CW's The Flash (2015). She's set to appear as Beatrice in a planned FOX parody show called Filthy Preppy Teen$.
