Steven Tyler of Aerosmith shared how he survived the blizzard that hit the New York and Washington D.C. area during an interview with CNN's Poppy Harlow. His interview, accompanied by his daughter was unplanned and came as a surprise to many viewers.
Tyler was visiting New York City to spend time with his daughter Mia and grandson. He also appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this past Friday.
When asked about his future travel plans he said that he wouldn't be going anywhere expect making an appearance on the Howard Stern Show Monday.
"I'm gonna hunker down. I've got a funny feeling the storm's gonna keep us here a couple extra days," said Tyler.
The two explained that they are used to snow because they lived in the northeast, but they had never seen a storm on this scale before.
The rock star plans on spending time with family during the storm and enjoying some hot chocolate.
