Coldplay announces U.S. stadium tour

Coldplay has a busy year ahead in 2016. Along with performing at the upcoming Super Bowl, the band has announced that they will be going on a U.S. stadium tour starting this summer.

Coldplay recently released their seventh studio album, A Head Full of Dreams, and is heading out to support the record.

The A Head Full of Dreams tour will kick off in New York at MetLife Stadium on July 16. The tour will be stopping in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Dallas. The final stop will be in San Francisco on September 3. General ticket sales will start on February 5 at 10am. Exclusive fan pre-sale will begin tomorrow.

Coldplay will be center stage at halftime during the 50th Super Bowl. Much speculation has already been forming around who will be joining Coldplay on stage and what special performances will be happening.
