As we ring in the new year and say goodbye to 2015, we are also saying goodbye to the name ABC Family. The network is changing its name to Freeform, which will bring a new logo, new shows and a new plot on Pretty Little Liars.
ABC Family will officially become Freeform on Jan. 12, the same night that Pretty Little Liars returns. Shadowhunters also premiers that night.
With the change coming so soon, we rounded up some of the best moments from ABC Family in their last year. ABC Family has broken the record with story lines that showed us that they understand that TV programming should help show viewers that being different is not a bad thing. From the big "A" reveal on Pretty Little Liars revealing "A" as transgender, to the gay kiss among two young boys on The Fosters, ABC Family did not sugarcoat the times we live in.
