Bernie Sanders look-alike ‘Bernie Baby’ dies suddenly

A nearly 4-month-old, dubbed as “Bernie Baby,” has passed away from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Oliver Jack Carter Lomas-Davis’ family confirmed through a memorial page that the child died on Feb. 25.

Additionally, his mother took to Facebook and expressed her grief.

"Oliver Jack Carter Lomas... I love you dearly, I love you most. I love you with all my heart and soul. I know that God will keep you near since God and truth are here," she wrote.

Oliver won the hearts of millions after a photo of him with the Democratic candidate in a white wig and a “Bernie 2016” button was posted online.

A spokesperson for Sanders said he has been informed of the infant’s passing and the campaign plans to issue a statement.

SIDS kills about 3,500 infants in the United States each year.

Oliver will be buried on Tuesday, March 8. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with funeral expenses.
