Joe Giudice surrenders to prison to serve his 41-month sentence

Joe Giudice of Real Housewives of New Jersey fame has surrendered to jail for his 41-month sentence as of Wednesday, March 23.

The Giudice family lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr, released a statement confirming Giudice surrendered to Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix at 12pm.

He said in the statement that Giudice’s wife Teresa, his brother, sister, and other members of the family were with him when he surrendered.

“It was obviously a very emotional day, but this is a very strong family with a tremendous support system and they will get through this, just as they did when Teresa was away,” Leonard told Us Weekly.

As we previously reported, Giudice said his goodbyes to family and friends on Monday, March 21 at a going away party thrown at a friend’s restaurant in New Jersey.
