Just after Warner Bros. finally showed off some images from The LEGO Batman Movie, the studio unveiled a teaser trailer that is the very definition of “everything is awesome.”
Starting off with a brief introduction of LEGO Batman taking credit for every aspect of the movie, the teaser is mostly set in the huge Batcave. The Bat-computer sounds like Siri, who tells him that Alfred left him some lobster for dinner.
Earlier this week, Warner Bros. showed off some images to USA Today and most of those scenes are in the trailer. The movie is the first follow-up to 2014’s The LEGO Movie and will hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
Will Arnett, who voiced LEGO Batman in The LEGO Movie, is back. He’s joined by Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl and Zach Galifianakis as The Joker. Chris McKay, the animation director for The LEGO Movie, is directing The LEGO Batman Movie.
