Tom Bergeron's mother passes away four months after his father's death

Tom Bergeron, one of the hosts of Dancing With The Stars, announced on social media that his mother, Catherine Bergeron, has passed away four months after the death of his father, Adrian Raymond Bergeron.

As previously reported, Bergeron missed an episode of the hit ABC show to be at his family’s side when his father was ill. He returned and spoke about how his father never missed an episode of the show.

Taking to his Twitter feed March 5., Bergeron posted a photo of himself with his parents, writing “Four months apart. Together forever. #RIPMom.”

In the tweet before that, he wrote on Mar. 4 that he was at her bedside with family.

Bergeron thanked well wishers for their support and also said he would miss the Good Morning America episode Mar. 8 when the entire cast of the 22nd season of DWtS would be revealed. He did say he would return for the premiere on Mar. 21.

Continuing his tribute for his mother, Bergeron posted a photo of himself at her “favorite” beach, alongside an older photo that also captured him "in the corner."
