Fresh off of The People v. OJ Simpson, Sarah Paulson has signed on to Rebel in the Rye, the upcoming J.D. Salinger biopic, according to Variety. Danny Strong will direct a script adapted from the biography J.D. Salinger: A Life. Paulson is playing Dorothy Olding, Salinger's agent who believed in him from a young age. Nicholas Hoult will play Salinger, while Kevin Spacey portrays Salinger's mentor, Professor Whit Burnett.
