Blake Lively's followers are fired up by a recent Instagram post by the Gossip Girl actress, and they are not quiet about it.
According to Yahoo!, Lively recently posted an Instagram photo at the Cannes Film Festival, featuring a side-by-side image of the front and back of the Atelier Versace gown she wore to the Café Society Premier. The pic was captioned "L.A. face with an Oakland booty."
While clearly a reference to Sir Mix-a-Lot's hit song, "Baby Got Back," the joke was poorly received by her followers, who called the post, "Unbelievably problematic," and "racist."
One follower went as far as to draw Lively's alleged racism all the way back to her wedding.
"As if getting married on a slave plantation wasn't reason enough to hate her," the follower wrote.
Lively married Ryan Reynolds back in 2012, at the plantation where The Notebook was filmed, as we previously reported.
As of right now, the post is still live and Lively has made no comment on the controversy.
