Kevin Smith has just released the insane new trailer for his upcoming movie Yoga Hosers.
The footage introduces audiences to Lily-Rose Depp, who is Johnny Depp's daughter and Harley Quinn Smith, daughter of Kevin Smith. They play two teenage yoga enthusiasts, known as the Colleens, who team up with the legendary Guy Lapointe (Johnny Depp) to fight an ancient evil. It also features Kevin Smith playing a bunch of Nazi's made of Bratwurst called the bratzi. Yes, really.
This is the second in Smith's planned "True North" trilogy that began with 2014's Tusk. Viewers may recall Depp's Guy Lapointe made his debut in that movie, which also featured the brief appearance of both girls.
The third film in the trilogy will be Moose Jaws, which is exactly what it sounds like: Smith has described it as "Jaws with a moose," according to Slashfilm. Both Colleens are expected to appear in that movie, as are Jay and Silent Bob from Smith's Clerk movies.
Many of these crazy ideas of Smith's actually originated on the director's podcast, SModcast. The premise of Tusk came about during episode 259, in which Smith and his co-host Scott Mosier discussed an article about a homeowner who offered a free living environment if the occupant agreed to dress as a walrus. Smith then asked his Twitter followers to vote on whether this idea should be turned into a feature film. A little over one year after that episode aired, Tusk was released in theaters.
Yoga Hosers will be released on July 29.
