Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez has cut off her long brown locks and is now sporting a new do which she showed off on social media Wednesday.
The actress shared her new half-shaved look with her followers via Instagram on May 4 and captioned the photo “Annihilation,” which is the title of her upcoming film.
One fan commented about the 31-year-old's drastic change and she confirmed that it was for her new film and she “loves it.”

Just a few days ago, Rodriguez shared a pic with shorter-than-usual hair and said that it will "take some adjusting." Apparently though her transformation wasn’t quite complete at that point.
