P!nk sent out a tweet on Memorial Day thanking current veterans and those who have served for fighting for freedom, but she did not appreciate it when someone corrected her about that tweet.
The singer wrote “Thankyou to all those who serve, have served. We're the land of the free because of the brave+we're grateful to you as well as your families” before one follower tweeted back to her “it’s Memorial Day. Not Veterans Day. It’s a pet peeve of military peeps. Remember the fallen.”
P!nk, whose real name is Alecia Moore, has never shied away from responding to online trolls and replied back “I'll honor all of those who serve and HAVE SERVED. My entire family. Like I said. My pet peeve is people like you.”
The 36-year-old went on to say “My 70yr old Veteran dad marched this morning in a parade like he does every year, to honor those who've fallen. Take your bs somewhere else.”
After that, another Twitter user asked P!nk if she only responds to those who make her angry and she admitted that she did, calling it a “character flaw.”
@Pink it's Memorial Day. Not Veterans Day. It's a pet peeve of military peeps. Remember the fallen.
