2016's Comic-Con trailers: excitement and fear

Another San Diego Comic-Con is in the books and this year's event was truly something. People say that every year, sure, but other years didn't have Wonder Woman kicking baddies across the room, a bald Tilda Swinton, Harry Potter's textbook writer, a King Kong the size of the Empire State Building, plastic Batman and a not-plastic Justice League. Even the Blair Witch stopped by to catch up!

For those of us who did not actually attend the event and sat at home awaiting the trailers to pop up on YouTube, it was pretty exciting too. Because, particularly with this batch of films, who knows how these movies will turn out? Has Marvel gotten too weird with Doctor Strange? Did DC get it right with Justice League? Do I still care about Harry Potter? Wait, when did King Arthur get here? This is a very scary group of movies right here. A lot of hype, but there's a lot of fear in the air. After all, these are the same studios that thought people wanted to see a big budget Tarzan movie or an Alice in Wonderland sequel. Nobody is safe. Let's dive into some of these trailers one at a time as we hold hands and pray for the best.
