The South of France was the target of a deadly terrorist attack on Thursday when a large truck plowed through crowds gathered in celebration of Bastille Day in the city of Nice.
On July 14, a man identified as Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, 31, fired a gun out the window of the truck he used to drive into the crowds of people as they were celebrating the equivalent of America’s Independence Day.
At least 84 people are dead and several others were left wounded. This is the second attack on the country since last November’s horrific Paris attacks that killed more than 100 people.
Upon hearing the news, many celebrities reacted via social media offering their thoughts and prayers to all those involved in this latest tragedy.
