An emotional Adele took to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 17, to explain to her fans exactly why she needed to cancel a show in Phoenix, Arizona.
The singer was clearly under the weather and looked upset in the makeup-free video she posted informing her fans that she would have to reschedule the concert.
“I’m really, really sorry. I’ve had a cold for a couple of days,” she said. “And I’ve been pushing through it. And I did my show last night and I loved it, but I pushed too hard, and my cold has gotten the better of me.”
After learning that she would not be performing many fans sent her get well wishes while others aired their frustrations out on Twitter.
However, the date when she will return to the Talking Stick Resort Arena has already been announced. Fans who can make it there on Nov. 21 will be able to see her live then.
