The Chicago Cubs have snapped a 108-year drought by defeating the Cleveland Indians 8-7 to win the World Series.
The Fall Classic was one for the ages and came down to a winner-take-all Game 7 which included a rain delay and went into extra innings. So Chicagoans waited again patiently and finally when the clock hit 12:47 a.m. at Progressive Field that wait was over and a celebration by the visiting team and their fans was underway.
The thrilling moment following the final out was felt by Cubs fans all over including some famous faces who have endured the losing streaks over the years and others who were just happy to witness history. Here are some celebrity reactions from those who expressed their joy that it finally happened via social media .

Let this remind each and every one of us that -- even if you're down 3-1 & it's been in 108 years -- you can win against all odds.
