The Twitter account of Vietnamese-American model, Tila Tequila, has been suspended after a series of Neo-Nazi tweets were released this weekend during a conference of “alt-right” white nationalists in Washington, D.C.
At the conference, the model posed in a Nazi salute for a photograph which she shared on her Twitter account. Tequila captioned the photo “Seig [sic] heil!”
According to The Huffington Post, on Monday, Nov 21, the restaurant in which the photograph was taken released a public apology. Maggiano’s Little Italy apologized on Facebook for hosting the conference which they stated, “resulted in hateful sentiment.”
Tequila has, in the past, said she is not a racist, nor anti-Semitic and is not a Nazi supporter. She has however, stated in previous tweets, “I’m a white supremacist!”
While it may not stop her trolling and hateful comments, it seems that some people aren't too broken up about the model's Twitter suspension.

This event can now be added to Tequila's slope from social media star to apparent Neo-Nazi. She went on a racist rants back in February and again in July. She was also kicked out of the Big Brother house for a post she did of herself in an outfit with a Nazi symbol and a handgun in front of a concentration camp and that October posted a pic of her baby as Hitler. Her beliefs go a long way back, when in 2013 she stated Paul Walker's death was part of a ritualistic murder when defending herself dressed as Hitler.
The model has yet to publically comment on her Twitter suspension.
Richard Spencer, who leads a white nationalist organization National Policy Institute and who is well known for inventing the term “alt-right,” has also had his Twitter account suspended.
