World Coffee Tour one-time box by Bean Box unboxing review

Bean Box is a coffee company that sells gifts for the true java lover in your life. You can choose from a sampler made of several small bags or get large bags of special blends. You can also purchase a monthly subscription service of either option. They sent me one of their amazing World Coffee Tour sampler boxes just in time for the holidays. Take a look inside!

The shipment was sent in a plain brown box with their logo in black on the outside. Inside, everything was packed in tissue paper to be sure it survived the trip. I didn’t have any problems with split bags and all the coffee remained completely fresh.

Upon opening the box, I found not only my coffee, but also two wafer cookies and three soft caramels. All were delicious. They also included a card that told a bit about the differences in coffee from various regions around the world. It was interesting to learn a little about what I’d be trying.

The first eight sampler bags were from the Americas – North, Central and South. They ranged from light to dark roasts. Each bag is labeled with not only the name of the coffee, but also a blurb from both the company who created the coffee and Bean Box about the flavors the beans bring forth.

The last eight coffees come from Africa and Asia. They’re labeled in the same way. Every bag tells you if they are fruit-flavored, slightly sweet or have notes of oak or toasty popcorn. Each one is true to its word and it’s fun to try a new blend each morning.

Each bag makes about 10 cups of coffee according to my coffee grinder. While the price may seem a little steep at $89, keep these things in mind. The coffees are all gourmet artisan brews that are roasted just before shipping. You won’t get a fresher cup of coffee anywhere and you get to discover new regions around the world that you enjoy. You can use this knowledge to buy full-size bags of your favorites. Every cup is absolutely delicious and worth a higher price than your ordinary grocery store coffee.
