Alan Thicke, star of Growing Pains and father of Robin Thicke has died at the age of 69 from a heart attack.
TMZ was the first to report he was playing hockey with his son Carter and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead this afternoon. The news has since been confirmed by other sources.
A source shared with E! News, "Alan was healthy and his heart attack was a complete shock."
Thicke was most recently seen on Fuller House and This is Us. In an oddly timed post today, he expressed excitement over being on Fuller House, saying, "Season 2 Fuller House looking good. I even like the ones I'm not in."
