Very sad news broke on Wednesday night that actress Debbie Reynolds died just one day after her daughter Carrie Fisher passed away.
As we reported, the 84-year-old movie star was mourning the loss of her daughter when she was rushed to the hospital for what was believed to be a stroke.
Todd Fisher, told the Associated Press that Reynolds said the stress of his sister’s death on Tuesday “was too much” for her.
“She said, ‘I want to be with Carrie,’” he recalled. “And then she was gone.”
This week alone Hollywood has dealt with the loss of singer George Michael, actor Ricky Harris, Fisher and now Reynolds. So celebrities again took to social media to react and send condolences to the Reynolds' family.
Some of the magic people have left the tribe...for the moment I am inconsolable...????????????

My favorite Debbie Reynolds recording. She was one of the last of the true H'wood talents: actress, singer, dancer: https://t.co/67zWUUHDhv
