Nick Cannon updates fans on his health from hospital bed (Video)

Nick Cannon was hospitalized last week due to a complication with lupus and on Wednesday, he decided to update everyone on his health from his hospital bed.

The America's Got Talent host took to Instagram to let his fans know that he will be released from the hospital soon and promised that he is going to bring things to "a whole new level in 2017."

"I'm still in the hospital but I'm about to get out of here, for real, and I'm letting you know we're about to take it to a whole new level," Cannon said. "I've just been sitting here, reflecting and I can't sit here dormant no more. I'm about to take it to the new level, a different stratosphere, a different mesosphere. I'm sitting here just getting stronger, just, like, Iron Man strong, Incredible Hulk type strong."

He concluded the video by quoting Nietzsche saying, "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger,'" before adding, "We all are stronger because we made it through 2016 and we're gonna keep going. One love."

In the caption accompanying the video he thanked his fans for all their well wishes.

As we reported, Cannon was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital a week ago and announced that he was spending the Christmas holiday there but would likely be feeling better and out by the New Year.

The 36-year-old revealed in 2012 that he had been diagnosed with lupus nephritis.
